Why did you decide to run for office?
I love Kiwanis and the work done in our communities, thoroughly enjoying working with others to better the lives of children. The idea of paying it forward has inspired me to seek the office of trustee, and I am excited at this opportunity with the great members of our organization.
What qualifies you to become an officer of Kiwanis International?
During my 38 years in Kiwanis, I have served in many leadership roles at the club, division and district levels. My education and experiences in the military, mortuary services and in civic organizations have prepared me to work with others in dealing with the issues of our organization.
How will you leave your mark on Kiwanis?
Working together with others for the common good of our children, I will engage, enthusiastically and with energy, in this opportunity to help lead Kiwanis, bringing changes for an even better organization that will be felt well into the future.
