Question: Where do I find bcc in my email program?

Answer:

I have written several articles on the importance of using BCC instead of TO or CC when sending emails to more than about 5-10 people. The question several have asked is where I find BCC in Gmail or Yahoo mail.

In Yahoo mail (which includes ATT, Bellsouth and several other email systems that use Yahoo to host email) after you choose to compose an email look at the right end of the TO line and you will see cc/bcc. Click the cc/bcc and now you will see the cc and bcc lines where you can put addresses in them just like you do in the to line

In Gmail after you choose compose to compose the message look at the right end of the from line and you will see cc bcc. Click on bcc and it will add the bcc line (clicking on cc will add the cc line) and then you can enter addresses just like you do in the To line.

If you are one of the people who still use AOL email (but most likely do not use AOL as your Internet provider) you will choose compose to compose your message. Then look on the right side just above the To line and below the X to close the message and you will see cc bcc. Click on bcc and it will add the bcc line (clicking on cc will add the cc line) and then you can enter addresses just like you do in the To line.
