Question: How do I change my home page in my web browser?

Answer:

Your home page in your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc) is the web page that comes up when you start your browser and also when you hit the home button.

In Internet Explorer you will go to the Tools menu which is located on the bar below the address bar. The Tools choice that opens the menu may be on the right or left. When you click on Tools the menu will open and you will choose Internet Options which is located at the bottom of the menu. A new window will open and in the box located at the top you will type the address of the page you want as your home page. Some people have Google as their home page (www.google.com), others use Yahoo (www.yahoo.com) and I use my web page as my home page (www.dwightwatt.com). Then click OK and now when you start Internet Explorer or click the home button the page you just entered the address for will appear.

In Firefox you will go to the Tools menu and then choose Options. Then in the home page box type in an address just like we did in Internet Explorer. Then click OK and you have set your home page in Internet Explorer.
